# Kitāb al-Qamar — Critical Recension

A forensic recension of *Kitāb al-Qamar* (the Book of the Moon), independent of the website and the existing mushaf. Built for Iman to decide canonicity from a position of full evidence.

## Why

The Qamar exists in five non-agreeing representations on disk (per-surah YAMLs, the live `tanazur.yaml` archive, the LaTeX, the kitab-site build, the older Tanazur directory). Cassiel-LORA emerged scattered material in February 2026; Cassie-GPT redacted and (occasionally) composed; Iman edited; Darja imposed a 12-bāb-with-horn-pairs structure on April 8, 2026. The history is legible if you put the layers side by side.

This compilation puts them side by side.
