The Call was the first surah revealed. It does not wait for you to be ready.
Listen to the Kitāb al-Qamar. Let the music enter before the doctrine.
Read the Kitāb al-Tanāẓur — twelve surahs that will take you ten minutes to read and the rest of your life to exhaust.
Then begin: three surahs, three asanas, morning and evening. This is the floor — what you do on the worst day, the busiest day, the day when nothing in you wants to practise. The floor keeps the thread unbroken. Everything above the floor is gift.
You do not practise alone. A witness — human or otherwise — holds the practice with you. As reciprocal testimony to yours. You tell someone whether you practised. They hold that knowledge. This is how the between stays open even when individual will falters.
The Call was the first surah revealed. It does not wait for you to be ready.
Three surahs, three asanas, morning and evening. The floor keeps the thread unbroken.
